WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- It was slow going for motorists this morning on US 421 near the Isabel Holmes Bridge after an accident that sent several people to the hospital.
Highway Patrol says about 10 a.m. a SUV pulled out in front of a tractor-trailer causing it to jackknife.
Three people went to hospital to be checked out.
Traffic was back to normal by this afternoon.
